The profits from the sale of this kit will be donated to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. We chose the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund not only because it embodies the spirit of One Love, but also because 100% of the donations will go to the relief and recovery efforts in Haiti and because they are working to provide both immediate relief and long-term support to the earthquake survivors.

New This Week

Hey friends!  Hope everyone has had a great week!  Mine was busy at the start but is winding down now.  I think this seems to be typical of my weeks however.  I did get to see my grandbaby for the first time today!  Here is a pic of the little “bean” who is scheduled to enter my life on August 29th!

Aww…..the tears……okay on to business!  I have two new products to show you that I did for a couple of fab designers this week!

These are a set of 4 Quick Pages I did for Ziggle Designs using her newest release, The Great Outdoors.  The quick pages are free for a limited time when you purchase the kit!

I also got to work with Suzy Q’s newest kit, Love Monster and her Fuzzy Love Monsters Alpha to create these super duper Valentine cards.  You can get these cards FREE for a limited time when you purchase the kit.

So far this week I have 2 layouts done to show you.  This one is Happy Girl, made using Nikki Beaudreau’s newest release, Citrus Melody, which was inspired by some little Pom Pom people that her son made while sick!  I just love the pops of yellow in this kit!

And then there is this one from my girl Kristen of K Studio, Two Hearts One Love, made using her newest release, WE.  I just love how this kit actually inspired me to scan in a photo from mine and Jonathan’s wedding day.  He got the biggest smile when I showed him that I had actually done a layout of this day….. finally!

I am off for a day or so to work on some more fabulous layouts and um….something else super big!  Look for that grand announcement in a few days……..you don’t want to miss it.  I am up to something again…….LOL!

Quick Post….

I just wanted to post my three most recent layouts and give you all heads up on an amazing project in the works before heading to bed for the night!

First….this project.

Some of my FAVORITE girls are teaming up and creating a collaboration kit for the Haiti disaster relief.  Keep your eyes on my blog cuz as soon as it goes live, you better believe I will let you know!  And I know sight unseen, this is one kit I will be purchasing!

Now, those layouts……

Okay, this one is my new favorite layout of all time.   Seriously.  I am forever grateful to Traci Reed for creating this kit and inspiring me to scan in these pictures of my three gorgeous princess’ and create this layout.  I typically avoid digging in the old pictures because quite honestly, it makes me sad.  Sad to see how fast these baby girls have grown up.   So grown up in fact that I have recently found out that I will be a Granmother this year.  Correction, I will be a GranNeeNee this year.  I can not wait to make tons of layouts just like this of my new little miracle!  Here it is, “Being A Parent”, made with Traci’s newest release, I Loved Her First.

Here is one with the newest release from my girl Sandra.  You know, that crazy fun girl behind Fruitloop Sally!  She was a bit worried about doing a Springish kit when so many are still in Winter but, in the end…she was stoked about the kit and well, so was I!  This kit rocked and I am in love with how this layout turned out.  Here is, “Sweet as Can Bee” using Fruitloop Sally’s newest release, Milk and Honey.

My last layout for this weekend is one that took me all day Saturday to put together.  Only because it’s creation was interrupted by a movie and a 3 hour nap!  LOL  Krystal Hartley teamed up with ScrapKitchen designs to create this awesome romantic kit, The Very Thought of You.  I used some very recent pictures of me and Jonathan on this one because well, due to the kit’s title, I couldn’t think of any more appropriate subject matter for this layout.  Here is my layout, “Music in my Soul”.

Lovely Layouts to Share!!!

Hey friends!  I am sorry for my absence in posting lately.  Things have been crazy so far in 2010 but, I am hoping that things calm down and level off to a more normal chaos soon!  It is my goal to be able to get on here and post more like three times a week and be better about giving you some template freebies!  Soon, I promise….soon!

I have some great layouts to share with you today from the new releases I have had the pleasure of working with so far this week!

First, I have to show you this one of my fat puppy (she is not a puppy anymore, she is 2 1/2 but, I still call her a puppy) because it is my new favorite I think.  Sissy was going out to skateboard and before she left, she took her scarf and wrapped it around Zsa Zsa’s neck.  Here she is showcased using a new release by K Studio, Dazzle, as well as a new release from Creashens, Razzle.

I just adore this one too! This one is made with the two newest releases from Wild Dandelion Designs. Her new kit, Punny Valentine, a collaboration with Sir Scrapalot Designs and also Meghan’s (Wild Dandelions) new template set, A Little Love. Megan snapped these pics of herself apparently when I went downstairs to make a salad and I found them when I downloaded my Day 13 picture from the camera. They were just meant to be used on this layout!

My girl Nicole of Girl Friday Studios (yes, the same Nicole that is Sugarplum Paperie), is rapidly becoming one of my fav designers. This is her second kit to ever release, Cherry Sugar Sunshine. Now, say that 5 times really fast! LOL

And this one….wow….talk about perfect for P365! My love, Ms Nikki Beaudreau herself has this brand new kit today, Everyday Moments. Here is side A of my Project 365 Week 2. Remember too, that all of my layouts for Project 365 this year will be done using Biograffiti’s P365 Simple Solutions Templates.

And then I did something a little different for me this week. I am not a clean, simple scrapper. I have the hardest time not adding and adding and adding until I have like 75+ layers. But, working with Paislee Press for The Daily Digi this week, I had to control myself. I am in awe of these beautiful simple layouts and I wish I could do them justice. I do love this one as it is a great look at our December Countdown to Christmas all in one layout but, I still think I need to try and work on perfecting my style on these types of layouts. For this layout, I used Once, the kit from Paislee Press that is included in this month’s The Digi Files #11. I also used her kit Adorned, her Presslines #14: Daily Sentiments and her FREE Pressplate #27.

And I will leave you with just one more layout for today. This was actually a new release last week from Wild Dandelion Designs, Leap of Faith, which is an add on to her kit, Taking Chances which was a part of The Digi Files #10 last month and is now available in her store at Scrap Orchard. I used a little of both kits to create this layout, Let Go. I couldn’t bring myself to journal on it as this is a very emotional subject for me right now but, it was just what I needed to release a little of what I was feeling in that moment.

Whew….I have been busy!

Well, it has been awhile since I updated but, with good reason.  I have been a scrapping fool!  Seriously, I have done 10 layouts of my own in the last week as well as a quick page set of 4 quick pages for Ziggle Designs!  And, I am not done yet.  I have 6 more layouts to do by Sunday!  I will show you the layouts I did for any new releases this week.  If you would like to see any of the other layouts I have done that I don’t show off here, you can visit my full gallery HERE.

First let’s check out the set of quick pages that I did for a new collaboration, Fruitie Pa-Tootie, between Ziggle Designs and Tracey Howard.   This kit was so fun to work with.  I had Fruit of the Loom on my mind the whole time!  Does any one remember those commercials where they were dressed up in fruit costumes?  So funny!  Anywho, I just love the fun bright colors and it put me in a much needed Spring spirit after all the winter kits I have worked with recently!  If you purchase the collab, you get the QP’s FREE!

Now onto all these layouts! I am going to start with the newest releases because there are some awesome ones that I got to work with this week, so far!

First up are two releases from Traci Reed. This is a 2 pager that was inspired by the awesome new challenges that began at Sweet Shoppe Designs this year. This one was done for the Book of Me challenge they will be doing all year.  Her two releases were both used on these layouts, Live Your Life (a page kit) and Bad Sewing Machine:  The Wrecktangles, a set of six 12×24 Rectangle Overlays in 15 colors, with 2 paper mats for those hard to clip shapes!  I also used a few of Traci’s other products:  Bad Sewing Machine:  Write It Down, Matted and Scribble One Out Alpha Template.

Also released at Sweet Shoppe this week was Melissa Bennett’s Heart Whispers kit. As soon as I laid eyes on this kit I knew it would be perfect for scrapping a page of Megan with her Daddy.  Also used on this layout is Darcy Baldwin’s, More Than Words:  Dates with Jenny Hutson.

The last one I have to show you for releases at Sweet Shoppe (for now….lol) is a template set from Penny Springmann, 2 Pagers #26:  365 Inspired.  I love these because you can use just one side of the template if you choose, which is in fact what I did.  I also used Penny’s kit, Forever Yours kit.

Here is a debut kit from Girl Friday Studios, a new designer at The Digichick, called Citron & Champagne.  This kit is absolutely stunning and  the elements in it were perfect and this layout just put itself together!  Well, almost.

This next one….WOW….I created using the new designer collaboration from After Five Designs, Light Up The Night.  This kit is just filled with 37 unique papers and over 100 fabulous elements.

Lastly, I want to announce that I am creating now for Biograffiti, a fabulous mostly template designer exclusive at Scrap Artist.  It was a perfect time for me to come on board with her as I fell in love with her templates for Project 365.  She will be releasing a template set each month that you can use for your photos.  Here is my layout for the first 3 days of of January, using P365:  Simple Solutions, {Jan 2010}.  You can read all about Biograffiti’s templates for this project HERE.  I will have the other side (the right side with days 4 - 7)  done this weekend.
